Save the TaTa's and Girls' Night Out!!

Urban Pearl is Thinking Pink this October to save the TaTa's!!
Stop in to see what's new, learn how you can help support the boobies and send a meaningful gift to local women bravely battling cancer.
This year for our October breast cancer awareness initiative, Urban Pearl is partnering with Fighting Pretty to bring "pretty packages" to women battling cancer.

Since 2013, Fighting Pretty has delivered more than 8,500  packages to women battling cancer in all 50 states (including some very special Harford County women who are now SURVIVORS).  Fighting Pretty is now working with communities to support local, which is why we are able to send packages to some very deserving women at The Kaufman Cancer Center.
How can you help? It's simple!! We are offering a few ways to make a difference. Customers can add a dollar amount when making a purchase in store or simply come in to donate. Urban Pearl is committed to helping women "fight pretty" while stamping out cancer and will be matching donations in October, up to $1000. Lastly, we will be calling on survivors to help us stuff the boxes to be sent to The Kaufman Cancer Center.
Meet Misia Szech, one of Harford County's survivors and a former Fighting Pretty package recipient. Misia had the amazing opportunity to fill packages on the Today Show last year and said "this organization allowed me to help many women fight strong, look beautiful and put a smile on their face in the process." In every Fighting Pretty box, there is a signature pair of boxing gloves to remind those battling to never give up. They also include items like pink nail polish, lip gloss, scarves and more!
So because we are thinking of those that have fought or are still fighting, please mark your calendars for OCTOBER 17th - our GIRLS' NIGHT OUT!!We will be raising awareness and money for breast cancer. Anyone making a donation and a purchase that evening will be entered in our giveaway to win a handmade breast cancer bracelet or beautiful purse from Woodscape Art. We are delighted to have been able to purchase one of these unique bracelets and purses from Sallie to gift to one lucky person. Sallie started making these beautiful bracelets in memory of her friend she lost to breast cancer 15 years ago. On your entry ticket, please note who you would wear this bracelet for in honor of, in memory of or in support of.
